Home/Not a fit
030Honest answers

Not every business is the right fit for what we do. And that's the point.

We get a lot of inbound. We turn most of it away. This page exists so you can read, before booking, whether we're the partner for you. And where to go if we're not.

We've found that the fastest way to do good work is to be honest about who we can't help. Most agencies say yes to everyone. We say yes to a handful, and we're better at it because of that.

Foundation is a 14-day delivery sprint and an operating retainer that follows. AI Infrastructure is a scoped audit and a custom build. Both engagements assume a business that's already up and running, with revenue, a working offer, and a team that can move quickly when we ship.

If that's not where you are right now, working with us would waste your money and our time. We'd rather you knew that before you booked a call.

What we are not the right partner for

Below is a list (not exhaustive) of situations where we'll politely decline the engagement on the call. Each one comes with where we'd send you instead. None of it is a judgement on you; some of it is just a question of timing.

If, after reading, you think we're still worth a conversation, the calendar is open. If not, the alternatives further down the page are real, and we recommend the ones we recommend because we'd use them ourselves.

Six situations where we'll say no.

Each entry includes who we'd send you to instead. We've worked with most of them; the rest we've vetted carefully.

01

Pre-revenue, pre-offer

You're still validating what you sell and to whom. Acquisition infrastructure compounds an offer that works. It can't manufacture one.

02

Looking for one tactic

You want Meta ads, or a single landing page, or a CRM setup, nothing else. We don't unbundle the stack. A specialist will serve you better and cost less.

Go: Specialist
03

Optimising for lowest cost

You're agency-shopping on price. That's a rational thing to do, but it's not how we price, and it's not how we work. There are good cheaper options.

Go: HighLevel community
04

Outsourcing sales entirely

You don't want to talk to your own customers. We build sales infrastructure; we don't replace your need to be in your own sales process. That role isn't ours.

Go: Sales-as-a-service
05

Need a CPL guarantee

We don't offer guaranteed cost-per-lead or lead-volume contracts. Anyone who does is either lying or selling you a different product. We sell systems, not promises.

Go: Lead-gen broker
06

Want AI without operations

You want AI agents bolted onto a business with no acquisition system, no CRM, no SOPs. Agents amplify what's already there. There has to be a there there first.

Go: Foundation first

Real alternatives, by situation.

Three resources we'd point you to before the categories above. They aren't affiliates. They're what we'd actually use.

For pre-revenue

Build the offer first.

If you don't yet have predictable revenue, the leverage point is offer and positioning, not infrastructure. April Dunford's Obviously Awesome and Alan Klement's JTBD work are where we'd start.

Hire a specialist.

If you need Meta media, a single funnel page, or a one-off automation, hire a senior individual who does only that. We keep a short list of operators we trust; happy to make an intro.

If you want to build the system yourself, our playbook covers the same architecture we use with clients (offer, funnel, CRM, sales process) in enough detail to ship without us.

If the timing is wrong, stay close.

One short note a month. New field work, the occasional teardown, and a flag when the next intake window opens. Two minutes to read. Easy to leave.
